Militants Leave Homs After Month-Long, Tense Negotiations

Meanwhile, militants are retreating from Aldwair in Homs, Syria. 450 terrorists have already left. Another 2000 are ready to join them. Negotiations through the Russian Hostilities Reconciliation Center lasted for over a month. 

Finally, the opposing sides managed to come up with an agreement. Shortly before, an agreement was signed. The extremists even had a chance to keep their personal weapons, but some gave them up right after retreating from Aldwair. There's an amnesty in effect in the Syrian Arab Republic for everyone who fought against the authorities. They have a chance to go back to a normal life.

Now Aldwair is patrolled by Russian and Syrian troops. Building inspections are taking place, examining all neighboring buildings. Over 2000 civilians have been evacuated from the region as well. We're helping soldiers and civilians leave the Aldwair neighborhood of the city of Homs.
