An exclusive footage from Syria, where ISIS militants promised to make Deir ez-Zor their capital. They took over it 3 years ago. Today Syrian army of terrorists are knocking out from the ruined streets. Our military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny tells that there are no more than 100 m between the militants and the Syrian forces. Why is nobody retreating? Here is why. This is a legendary Syrian Republican General Issam Zahreddine. He fought in Homs, Damascus, Qamishli and for the last few years here.

The General is always on the frontline. He supervises the actions of his officers. Thanks to him and the soldiers of Zahreddine's division there is still no black flag of the pseudo-Khalifat in Deir ez-Zor. These are the recruits, who just recently arrived to the city.

More experienced officers give them lessons. 100 m away from the opposition. They learn how to fight in buildings. If your arm is hurt, you can reload the gun with one hand, like this. General Zahreddine explains to the recruits how to neutralize the terrorists and not die. This soldier poses as an ISIS militant. Always. His hair is like this because he swore not to go to the barber until they win. Aihan has been fighting for about 5 years. I offered to play the terrorist during the lessons. A lot of militants look like me. I want the recruits to get used to the kind of enemy they'll face.

New soldiers must be careful and pay close attention. Take care of themselves and not waste the ammo. One bullet per terrorist. That's what we say here — we need victory, victory and also victory. There are no more than 500 m from the frontline to the rear. Terrorists fire through whole blocks daily. There's no safe place in Deir ez-Zor. Within 24 hours over 10 injured get admitted to the military hospital and to the only civilians' hospital. And that's every day. I was leaving the mosque after my prayer. That's when the ISIS drone dropped a bomb. It exploded, injuring me and 9 others. We need help in the city.

Stuff like that happens here every day. Because of the ISIS blockade, there's a disastrous humanitarian situation in Deir ez-Zor. There's no fuel, not enough clean water and food. There's only technical water for a short period of time once a week. Russian humanitarian mission representatives delivered water filters to the city. 500 devices were given to the medical staff of the Assad hospital. Each filter can purify around 20,000 liters. They set up a water discharge point for all in need. Here RHM reps and the hospital personnel gave filters to people that live in the active combat zone.
