445 Russian children remain in Syria and Iraq. Many of them are not even 3 years old. These numbers were announced today by the Children's Rights Ombudswoman, Anna Kuznetsova.

 

She spoke at the meeting of the Commission for Returning Russian Children from Conflict Zones. Children with Russian citizenship, who are very small and helpless, remain in conflict zones. At the moment, the Russian Federation is the first country to take steps to ensure that children return to their homeland.
