On Saturday, President of Turkey Erdogan said that the confidence levels within NATO raises serious concerns.

Here are his words: “Confidence in the organization is a serious issue in the alliance in general”.

That's how Erdogan commented on NATO's refusal to help Turkey in the area of air defense.

Erdogan was sore after NATO's recent training in Norway, where the shooting targets had pictures of NATO's enemies. Among them was not only Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey, but also the incumbent Turkish President Erdogan.

As a result, Turkey withdrew its contingent from the maneuvers in Norway and demanded an apology.

Erdogan didn't accept the apology of the Norwegian Minister of Defense Frank Bakke Jensen. He said it wasn't enough because it wasn't him personally that was insulted, but the whole of Turkey.
