The Western Military District artillerymen have conducted a launch of the tactical operational missile Tochka-U in the Leningrad Region. As part of the exercise, soldiers demonstrated a massive fire attack from self-propelled artillery systems, multiple-launch rocket systems, and mortars. Military engineers also took part in the exercises, as well as radiation, chemical, and biological defense troops. Pilots conducted flight demonstrations in the sky over the test field.
Then, on the ground, patriotic clubs exhibited the weaponry of the Soviet-Finnish War and World War II.
