The flight took place as scheduled. Denis Manturov, the Minister of Trade and Industry, stated that it was a big breakthrough for the Russian aviation industry. Our experts demonstrated that they could create highly advanced operational systems. For example, the new plane is equipped with a unique airframe, new digital technology, and an advanced engine.

 

Its main features are kept secret. So far it is called the Izdeliye 30. It will be used for the new Russian fighter jets.

That’s not all that’s known about the Su-57. It is a heavy fighter aircraft, with a maximum speed of 3,000 km/h. It can carry 10 air-to-air missiles and 10 air-to-surface missiles. It's also equipped with a 30-mm anti-aircraft gun.
