Incredible Claims: New Woodward Book Paints Trump as Out of Control Homicidal Maniac!

He tried to order the head of the Pentagon to kill Bashar al-Assad, and he called his subordinates "retards." Meanwhile, they were stealing papers from the Oval Office. These facts about the incumbent US president are in a book written by the legendary journalist who once helped to oust Richard Nixon.

Alexander Khristenko has the highlights from the future bestseller.

Not the book itself, but its extracts, made public before its release, show a record-breaking number of mentions in the media. Bob Woodward, the US journalistic giant from The Washington Post, has taken on the US president. The booked is entitled Fear: Trump in the White House. According to the author, there are plenty of reasons for fear. One of them is the President's unfitness for work and impetuosity.

Woodward's sources report that a year ago, in April, after the chemical attack in Syria, Trump allegedly wanted to kill President Bashar al-Assad. He ordered that to US Defense Secretary James Mattis by phone. "Let’s fucking kill him! Let’s go in. Let’s kill the fucking lot of them".

Another sensational statement revealed that a month after the inauguration, Trump asked the military to come up with a plan of a preventive attack against North Korea. The generals were overwhelmed. "The President has the understanding of a fifth or sixth grader", Mattis is reported to have said to his associates.

According to the author, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly once said the following about the US president: "He's an idiot. It’s pointless to try to convince him of anything. He’s gone off the rails. We’re in Crazytown. I don’t even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I’ve ever had".

However, both Mattis and Kelly are unanimous in denying that. "The idea that I ever called the President an idiot is not true. In fact, it's exactly the opposite. As I stated back in May and still firmly stand behind".

The White House has called Woodward's book "nothing more than fabricated stories". The President called the writer before the book extracts were made public.

In his tweet, Trump implied that the author is working for the Democrats, as the book is being released right before the congressional elections. Bob Woodward once helped oust an American president. About half a century ago, again working for The Washington Post, he carried out an investigation of the Watergate scandal, which resulted in Richard Nixon's resignation.

Nowadays, many people in the US capital would like history to repeat itself, this time with Donald Trump.
