Shoigu: Europe Will Face Consequences if They Accept Mid-Range Missiles Aimed at Russia on Territory

Moscow is waiting for Europe to respond to the USA's decision to withdraw from the INF Treaty. Sergei Shoigu stated this today at the meeting with his Greek counterpart.

Sergei Shoigu: "The decision has been made. It would be nice if Europe could understand the consequences it will face if intermediate-range missiles are deployed in Europe. Regarding intermediate-range missiles, not everyone in Europe understands that this decision will have serious consequences for Europe as well. To be more precise, Europe will face them in the first place.

In our opinion, it would be appropriate if there was a wider discussion of the decision both within NATO and the EU frameworks".
