Well, AvtoVAZ, surprisingly, became the leader. In 2018, it sold more than 360,000 domestic Lada cars. The second place in terms of sales took Kia, the third one is Hyundai. The forecasts for 2019 is further growth but at a slower pace.
Jörg Schreiber, Head of the Committee of Automakers, AEB: "We forecast a 3.6 percent increase for 2019. Thus, the pace of recovery will slow down. The forecast is based on the fact that there will be no abrupt changes. In case there is bad news, the forecasts will also change".
