Cannon Fodder! Poor Morale and Horrid Conditions; Kiev Takes HORRIBLE Care of It’s Own Troops

From Hong Kong to Casablanca, through Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. A railroad connecting China and Europe will be built in the near future. Its primary purpose will be freight transportation. And quite tellingly, Ukraine was circumvented on this map. Five years ago, Kiev would've been the main track and not the side one.

Former Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kava complained on social media that his country has become an outcast state. A route that avoids Ukraine was approved in Paris at the highest level by the Railroad Union and the Freight Transportation Association. In the end, the map says more about the notorious Euro-integration of Kiev than the IMF loans. Nothing personal, it's just business.

Besides, Ukrainian infrastructure can hardly prepare for the inflow of Chinese wares. Recently, Ukraine has been cutting corners even when it comes to the main focus of the current regime, the army. One of the ZSU soldiers couldn't take it anymore and leaked all of the "advantages" of the mighty Ukrainian forces online. A short video from a dugout in Avdiivka went viral.

Alexey Konopko will tell us what's so shocking about it.

- Greetings, Alexey.

- Good evening.

- Do they have to melt snow to take a bath?

- They do, and not just that. For example, they have to steal fowl from hunter traps in order to eat.

Several grenades and a spotter scope that was produced in 1941 and is useless at night. They do have a night-vision device, but it came without batteries. The everyday routine of a dugout in Avdiivka was posted online by an unnamed ZSU soldier.

“A new shift begins. We waste an afternoon collecting firewood. We load it into a truck. We get some firewood for ourselves. We need three bags of wood to warm the place up. We run back across a 50-60 meter area risking getting shot. We also have to melt snow in order to take a bath.”

Such messages often show up in the media. For instance, the Russian Spring website recently acquired this letter. An officer of the 36th Marine Brigade called the Kerch Strait incident a planned provocation and the martial law that followed it a fake. The summary is even more illustrative.

"The morale of half of my brigade has never been lower. Two years ago, my daughter was proud that her father was defending Ukraine. Now, she tells me that it would be better if I was a factory worker. Basically, the only place the military is ready to attack is Kiev".

The LNR recently reported on the 59th ZSU Brigade, whose soldiers all refused to go into the field. While the third strongest in Europe and one of the most capable in the world, according to Poroshenko, the Ukrainian Army seems to be efficient in an unexpected way.

Dmitry Perlin, political analyst: "Their only goal is to acquire money which they can later embezzle. After the notorious explosions in Vinnytsia and Kharkiv Oblast they pretended to be building new warehouses, but in reality, they created a money-making scheme worth a billion dollars".

It's hard to calculate the exact sum of money that Poroshenko earned during the civil war. However, over the last year, he received more than a billion hryvnas in dividends. That's 82 times more than in 2017.

According to Dragon Capital, a year ago, Rinat Akhmetov used to possess $7 billion with a 70% growth over the previous year. Viktor Pinchuk had almost $1.5 billion. The president is the fifth richest person in Ukraine. The total fortune of the 100 richest Ukrainians has been growing 12 times faster than the country's GDP.

Alexey Zhuravko, former member of Verkhovnaya Rada: "I'm aware of the current situation, including what's happening in the barracks and field camps. It's terrible. The soldiers have to suffer because some people are stealing their funding. They must realize that and launch an offensive against Kiev".

It's symbolic that after the data was published the company ceased posting news on its website. Anonymous videos depicting the uncomfortable truth posted online are a new trend in Ukraine rather than an exception.

Dmitry Perlin, political analyst: "The Ukrainian authorities cooperate with the media in order to accuse any opponent of the government of working for the Kremlin even if they simply criticize illegal construction, the low quality of the roads, or even just say something negative about the government. In the current situation, the people are better off sitting silently".

Another example of such anonymous signals has just appeared on the net. A conversation between officers of the 93rd ZSU Brigade with a Ukrainian news reporter. There's nothing reprehensible about their conversation however, both sides, including the deputy morale officer of a thousands-strong unit, are speaking in the language of an aggressor.

- Regarding the incident with the separatist truck, the public utilities Water of Donbass truck, I'd like to know the position of your brigade. What happened there?

- You see, I'll have to coordinate my position on that issue with my command because it's a complicated issue. But your question is interesting.

Denis Denisov, political analyst: "It might seem insignificant but it's a tragedy of the Ukrainian Civil War." Russian-speaking people are fighting on both sides of the conflict. Indeed, it's a civil conflict, a civil war".

It's difficult to predict what will happen to the ZSU after the March elections, which Poroshenko is expected to lose. The new government might find the money, but not a reason, to maintain the conflict. Nobody in Ukraine seems to need it apart from the ones profiting from it.
