The head of the White House made it clear the US knows where the Venezuelan military and their families allegedly "hide their money". In response, the legitimate president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, said that 300 tons of legal cargo from Russia would arrive in Caracas tomorrow. Maduro also promised to ensure the full independence of the country from American technology, including the production of weapons, to discourage Washington from interfering in the affairs of Caracas.

Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela: "Donald Trump gives orders to the Venezuelan Armed Forces yet again. Is he the commander-in-chief here? This is not stated in our Constitution. The United States, with its contempt for Venezuela, considers itself the master of our country. The American president believes that he has the right to command here and that our military will obey.
