"T-34" Movie a Success Abroad as Well! Anti-Russian Activists Unable to Shut Down Opening Weekend!

Ukrainian activists follow the same pattern in the USA. This week they've called movie theaters demanding that the screening of T-34, a Russian blockbuster, be canceled. Earlier, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington made the same demand. The argument is that the film allegedly openly distributes and popularizes modern Russian aggression in the world, which has already affected Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington made the same demand. The argument is that the film allegedly openly distributes and popularizes modern Russian aggression in the world, which has already affected Ukraine.

The movie is about an absolutely different era; it's about the Great Patriotic War.

- We're going to fight in this tank. They'll be using live ammunition.

- Like gladiators?

To cap it off, there's not a single Ukrainian in the story of T-34.

- Panther right ahead!

- To the left!

But the embassy, apparently deciding to make its webpage on the internet a branch of Myrotvorets, published a list of American movie theaters that were showing T-34. It didn't work out. Due to the radicals' calls, the screening was only canceled in San Francisco.

All in all, we should thank them for advertising. The movie had great success in the USA. According to Kinosfera, the film's distributor, the Russian film was sold out every night.
