Large-scale exercises of the FSB special forces are being held in Crimea: the latest military equipment, weapons, and about 2,000 troops. During the maneuvers, a scenario was played out to neutralize terrorists who seized strategic objects at sea and on land. And this is only the first stage. What tasks were accomplished today, Olga Armyakova reports.

The drilling platform is just 3 miles from the Crimean coast. Here, on the Black Sea shelf, natural gas is extracted. According to the FSB's large-scale exercises scenario, this strategic facility was captured by terrorists. Now for about an hour, they are holding the entire crew of the platform hostage. Exciting scenes that resemble an action-packed movie: explosions, shots, smoke screen.

Spetsnaz members begin the assault. People in black are under the platform in the water, this is the underwater Spetsnaz. They are the first to go up unnoticed on the deck. In just a moment, a part of the criminals is neutralized. The most dangerous and spectacular part of the exercise: a helicopter, as if suspended in the air. Paratroopers are landing on a small oil rig, for the first time in the world.

Also at the same time, a special operation codenamed Wings, begins on land, where the saboteurs plan to seize a port. Here they are moving in trucks along the road, which is already controlled by the FSB Spetsnaz. The soldiers arranged an ambush to destroy the criminals. The large-scale exercises in Crimea will continue until the end of the week.
